The theme for VBS 2025 is "True North - trusting Jesus in a wild world"!!
True North VBS will take kids on an amazing Alaskan adventure where northern lights glow over majestic mountains, racing rivers, and glistening glaciers. As kids trek the tundra, they’ll explore how easy it is to lose sight of what’s true in our wild world today. Pointing them toward Jesus, True North VBS shows them that he is a faithful friend we can always trust. Kids will walk forth from VBS boldly into this wild world with faith in Jesus. He’s our True North!
VBS will run from 9am-12pm daily from July 14-18.
St. James VBS serves both Preschool-aged children and Elementary. All students begin & end the day together. But, there are separate areas for Preschool and Elementary activities.
Preschool VBS is for any participant who is 3 (and potty trained) through entering VPK in the 2025-2026 School year.
Elementary participants are those entering Kindergarten through entering 5th grade.
The cost is just $65 per child.
A limited number of scholarships are available, please email VBS@Stjamestampa.org .
Discounts are also available for early-registrations and parent volunteers.

Registration is limited for VBS 2025. You will need to register each child who will be participating, individually.
Registration includes everything your child needs to participate in VBS 2025 including t-shirt and daily snack. If your child has severe food allergies, please consider sending in a safe snack for your child each day.

Calling all Volunteers!
VBS takes a village to make happen and we would love for you to be part of our village. There are various volunteer roles that need to be filled for VBS. Both youth (6th-12th grade) and adult volunteers are needed.
Youth can qualify for service hours for volunteering with VBS (up to 20 hrs in 1 week!).
Parents who serve all week can also get a discount for their child's VBS registration!
