you are not alone

We are here to journey with you.

“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.”

Galatians 6:2 (NIV)

We know that everyone has their battle to fight, their cross to bear, their road to travel. Our Care Ministry helps those who have some bumps and unexpected turns along the way. We offer a place of safety and healing for people struggling relationally and behaviorally. We offer hospital visitation, support, consultation, prayer, meals, cards, referrals, and more. Everyone shares the responsibility of care to those that need it.

STEPHEN MINISTRY

Don’t struggle alone.

There is a community of believers who are here for you.

Stephen Ministers are trained and dedicated to walk alongside those in need, offering a supportive ear, care, & prayer while sharing both God’s word and His love. Stephen Ministers  help guide you in your journey from brokenness to wholeness. All meetings with Stephen Ministers are kept completely confidential.

If you think you would benefit from the services of a Stephen Minister or would like to be trained to volunteer, please contact Melissa Ewen.

Baptism

The Sacrament of Baptism expresses God’s love and grace, which is free to all. In the baptism service, St. James vows to embrace you and/or your child and be with you/them throughout their faith walk. All are required to meet with Pastor Tony  prior to baptism.

To schedule yours or your child’s baptism, or to ask more questions, please contact Melissa Ewen.

Weddings and Marriage

Christian marriage is one of the most significant rites in a couple’s life.  St. James offers marriage counseling and wishes to extend every possible assistance to you so that your wedding will be a truly memorable, spiritual, and meaningful celebration.

To schedule an appointment for marriage counseling,
contact Melissa Ewen.

Funerals and Memorials

The resurrection of Jesus Christ as comfort and support while celebrating the life of the deceased is our focus. Through strength in worship, scripture readings, prayer, and music, family and friends can find the renewal of Christian faith, hope, and love to sustain them in times of grief.

The distinction between a funeral service and a memorial service is whether the casket will be present. To schedule a funeral or a memorial service, please contact Melissa Ewen.
