Child/Youth Protection Policy Quiz

Child/Youth Protection Policy Training Quiz

A central tenet of the Christian faith is the inherent value and worth of all children, youth and adults. Children and youth are least able to protect themselves in our society and are particularly vulnerable to abuse and neglect. St James United Methodist Church is desirous of doing what we can to protect our youth, children, and volunteers who participate in the life of the congregation.

Annual Child/Youth Protection Training is required by the Florida United Methodist Conference for all adults working with children or youth in the church building. This is an annual mandatory training for all staff and volunteers.

We believe the safety of our children/youth is of the utmost importance. ***PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU HAVE WATCHED THE TRAINING VIDEO OR ATTENDED A TRAINING SESSION PRIOR TO COMPLETING THIS QUIZ. THERE ARE QUESTIONS WITHIN THE QUIZ THAT CAN ONLY BE ANSWERED AFTER COMPLETING THE TRAINING.

You may also refer to the SJUMC Child/Youth Protection Policy found here.

Thank you for volunteering and working with children and youth and for your commitment to keep them safe.
