Vacation Bible School at St James
At Snowball Mountain, your children will learn that God is the source of their strength!
Snowball Mountain Challenge invites kids to an exciting winter sports event where they become Challengers, gearing up for frosty games, snowy surprises, and hands-on lessons about resilience and faith. They will come to realize that with the strength God provides, they can share their gifts, be brave, give their all, pray, and hope. Snowball Mountain Challenge VBS delivers joy and meaning in equal measure, teaching kids that “I can do all things through him who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13, NRSV).

What is VBS?
VBS is a fun half-day camp where kids learn more about God's love for them. Every morning starts with an opening of songs and skits. Then, kids head with their groups to rotate through different stations such as arts and crafts, science, storytelling, music, recreation, and more. At the end of the morning everyone comes back together for a closing time of more songs and skits. VBS is open to children entering VPK through those entering 6th grade.
When & Where is VBS?
VBS is June 15-19, 2026 from 9am-12pm every day.
At the beginning of each day, students will be dropped off at the Main Sanctuary at St James. Then, groups will rotate through stations located throughout St James's campus. Students can be picked up in the Sanctuary after they are dismissed from their groups at 12pm.

How much does it cost?
Registration for the week costs $50. This helps cover the cost of a t-shirt, supplies, snacks, and curriculum materials. Scholarships are available if needed - contact us to request scholarship assistance.
How can I help?
Adults and students entering 7th grade and up are welcome and invited to volunteer! You can help with prep beforehand, teardown, and also during VBS as a station leader or assistant. We also need group leaders to guide kids through the station rotations!
