J.A.M. SESSIONS
J.A.M. stands for Jesus And Me. Each month we youth work as a team to make a difference in the community. Whether it's making peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for PB&J for Tampa Bay to feed the homeless or holding a COOKIES 2 CARE project to bless our First Responders, Teachers, Shut Ins and homeless. Our goal is to be Jesus - not to be served but to serve others.
V.O.L.T.S.
VOLTS are youth who have a desire to become servant leaders in Power Up Kids Ministry. VOLTS stands for Volunteers Obediently Living the Truth Through Serving. Based on their gifts and talents the Children's Ministry leadership trains and places them in areas of service where they can thrive.

Confirmation Classes for Students in 7th grade and older | Select Sundays, Feb.1 through May 3
Confirmation in The United Methodist Church is how students can decide if they want to join the church. It will be a series of classes about what it means to be a Christian, a United Methodist, and a member of St James UMC. Classes will be held on the following dates during youth group time, 5:30-7:30pm. Students can eat and fellowship with the rest of the youth group and then will have Confirmation classes.
