"JOYS" MONTHLY PROGRAMMING

The centerpiece of our adult programming is our monthly "Joys" gathering. We meet on the first Friday of every month from 7pm - 9pm. The first hour is designated for worship with great music, a practical biblical message and additional elements such as skits in which our guests are encouraged to be part of to reinforce the message of the evening. We also have guest artists visit of various genres to share their talents such as worshipful dance and contemporary Christian bands.

At 8pm, we close worship and begin the social hour of the evening with everything from dances, to movies and more! Attending both hours is not necessary to be part of the Joys experience, but if you do, you are guaranteed to have fun !

Periodically throughout the year, Joys will also go off-campus for social activities such as seeing a Rays game or a water ski show. Each May, come experience our annual "Red Carpet Affair" dance which attracts many from the community.

Joys is open to those who range in age from 16 years to ageless.

  
   

SUNDAY MORNINGS


Join St. James on Sunday mornings for exciting & meaningful worship!  Traditional service is at 9:30am and contemporary services are held at 11:00am & 12:30pm.

Our Joys Sunday school program teaches Biblical lessons in a format created for teens & adults with special needs to thrive. Held at the 11:00 hour each Sunday, participants will learn about the love of Christ through music and study, plus they will meet some new friends along the way!  

 
   

CAPERNAUM PROGRAMMING


St. James is a proud partner and host of Capernaum, a YoungLife Ministry program.  YoungLife's Capernaum program gives young people with mental and physical disabilities (ages 13-25) the chance to experience fun & adventure, to develop fulfilling friendships and to challenge their limits, while building self-esteem. 

Capernaum meets the 3rd Saturday of each month from 4-6pm at St. James. For more information on this program, please contact Allen Guy at 813.929.3059.
